Katrina has known for a while now that her relationship with her boyfriend was toxic but she never expected it to escalate to physical violence. The only good thing to emerge from the situation as it gave her the strength to end it and since it happened in a public place the bartender, Seth came to her rescue.

Seth has know Katrina for a while but he prefers to keep his relationships short and simple. He wasn’t about to just stand by and let harm come to her when the chemistry escalates between them will it be the beginning or the end?

Short, sweet and steamy I enjoyed watching Katrina and Seth realize that they belonged together. I thought that the narrator did a great job with both the emotion and intrigue of the story.

A short story but it doesn't lack anything. Katrina is in a relationship with Curtis but gradually he's got more controlling and she's losing a part of herself. When he gets violent in a bar the bar owner Seth steps in to stop her being hurt.
Hes known Katrina for years but he's not one for relationships but he starts to feel protective towards her. When he saves her life a second time the pair find they're attracted to each other. But with one coming out of a bad relationship and the other doesn't do relationships is this doomed to end before it begins. I received a free copy of this book from the author but the review is my own personal opinion. I did enjoy this book and male narrator did a good Katrina voice as well as Seth.
