i must have browsed hundreds of synopses before choosing this book to read. my gut feeling reading the reviews were spot on. ideal christmas gift for someone into history, geography, aviation, crime, etc. how many books have this diversity? the author as narrator works very well too.

A warts and all account from a passionate and experienced air observer who writer takes you on the journey. No nonsense in places and very compelling. Highly recommend.

Anyone who has an interest in what goes on up there in the cab of a police chopper would love this book. It has great humour, interesting technical details and even some local history. Well worth a listen!
