About this listen

AI is going to change brand strategy and marketing forever. Are you ready?

What does the rapid rise and astonishing rate of improvement of AI mean for brands in the next five years? Listen to what OpenAI CEO Sam Altman told authors Adam Brotman and Andy Sack when he met them: "It will mean that 95 percent of what marketers use agencies, strategists, and creative professionals for today will easily, nearly instantly, and at almost no cost be handled by AI. No problem."

Upon hearing that astonishing statement, the authors began a journey of discovery to understand what the transition to an AI first world would mean. You'll hear from a who's who of tech visionaries who spoke with the authors, including Altman himself, Bill Gates, and Reid Hoffman, sharing how they're thinking of the transition to the new reality. You'll also hear from practitioners bold enough to be surfing this tidal wave of change, including one who audaciously mandated experimentation with AI for all his employees.

It's time to get ready for a brand-new world. Start here.

great book to grasp what is coming and what mindset to have to embrace and take part of a big change that is coming faster than people might think.

Good to hear the different perspectives on the emerging world of AI first. Useful recommendations based on the research that will consider too.

Feedback to improve is the orator was a bit too robotic in my opinion and could have brought more emotion and engagement to the material.

I know the book is about AI, but I. didn't think that would mean they'd hunt down the most AI-sounding narrator and it would feel like it was written by ChatGPT on an off day

I'm obsessive about learning more about the topic and implementing it on my own business. As such I was aware this book wasn't directly aimed at people like me. But even so, I thought I would glean some ideas or insights from it. Needless to say I didn't. Or rather to say, I'd not learned anything when I gave up about three-quarters of the way through because I couldn't stand the robotic narration any longer.

If you are a CEO/MD of an SME and aren't implementing AI yet, then this book may well prove useful, but buy the written version.

If you are thinking of buying it because it was recommended by the brilliant, Paul Roetzer from The Artificial Intelligence Podcast, think again. Paul has covered everything in this book (at leaast the first three quarters) many times and in a much more engaging way.

Terrible narration, mediocre message
