Summary

Nella calda estate del 1964, il farmacista di un piccolo paese nell'entroterra siciliano riceve una lettera anonima che lo minaccia di morte. Manno è un uomo tranquillo, non ha nulla da temere e liquida la faccenda come una burla. Il giorno seguente, però, lui e un suo amico, il dottor Roscio, vengono uccisi durante una battuta di caccia. Se la polizia segue la pista passionale, il professore Laurana è invece convinto di avere trovato un indizio importante.

Un romanzo che fa luce su una società fondata su segreti, menzogne, collusione e violenza.

Da non perdere

Il libro è un classico che non invecchia mai, ma reso ancora più vitale dalla performance eccezionale di Scianna che lo rende appassionante come un radiodramma.
