THIS is how you do trials in fantasy. Every challenge felt tense without dragging and I was completely locked in the entire time. The writing itself was so well done too because it managed to feel really immersive without becoming heavy, and it made the entire world and atmosphere ridiculously easy to fall into. I kept saying “one more chapter” and suddenly half the book was gone.

Also I was OBSESSED with the MMC. Absolutely gone for this man from start to finish. The chemistry, the tension, the little moments mixed in with all the chaos… perfect.

And that ending??? I am genuinely gagging for the next book because there is no way you can leave me like that and expect me to be normal about it. An easy five stars for me.

I found A Wish So Deadly gripping from the very beginning. The story is filled with so much detail, drawing you into the fantasy world and keeping you completely captivated.

I honestly couldn’t stop listening! I was constantly wondering what was going to happen next, especially as the story built towards the Reckoning!!!!! There were plenty of twists, suspense and moments that kept me eager to find out where the story would lead.

A fantastic listen for anyone who loves fantasy, magic, adventure and a story that keeps you guessing right until the end.
