About this listen

He's in your home . . . and you don't even know it.

Not everything is as it seems in this sleepy Yorkshire village.

DI Drew Haskell is a no-nonsense detective recovering from a devastating personal loss. When a number of young people are found dead in a sleepy Yorkshire village, Haskell believes a murderer is on the loose. But his boss isn't so sure and won't authorize an investigation. Breaking the rules is Haskell's only chance at solving this case.

Teaming up with criminal profiler Harriet Quinn—the only other person who believes a murderer is at large—Haskell opens up a can of worms that triggers a deadly sequence of events.

Can they stop the killer before he finds another victim?

Some good ideas but somewhat spoiled by the breathy narration and mispronounced words. Poor male voices.
The chapter where the dr hears of a death was totally unrealistic, and the links to the ending seemed unrelated to the rest of the story.
Sudden ending.
Not sure I could listen to book 2.

Potentially good

I liked the idea of the story. I thought the ending was a bit rushed. The narration was not the best. Mispronounced words, the men’s voices were all the same and in a weird clipped tone that made them all unlikable. Will see if same narrator before trying book 2

Story was good, but

Totally gripping storytelling, but I found the narrator far too correct in her pronunciation of many words and just… irritating!

Fantastic story
