About this listen

Luke and Miranda have shared many things, but they’ve never shared the same bed. After a weekend together, the longtime friends find themselves in an interesting conundrum. They can pretend the sexual tension between them doesn’t mean anything, or they can see where their weekend fling takes them.

Now that they’ve crossed the line, are they willing to risk their friendship - and their hearts - or will they choose to forget the weekend’s events and hope it doesn’t come back to haunt them?

Story:
Luke and Miranda know each other since childhood, but now as adults, they notice their feelings have changed. The air is charged with electricity, when they are together.
Both aren't sure, if the other is experiencing the same and how to express the wish for more than just friendship.
When they suddenly face hours alone in an abandoned lighthouse, and decide to play "Truth or Dare" to kill the time, everything changes.

Narration:
The narrator, Elaine E., does a good job. She was the reason, I stayed with the story all the way to the end.

Overall:
I liked Luke and Miranda and found their shyness to open up to each other at the beginning realistic.
I didn't like the storytelling much, there's too much tell and too less show, and the constant "Luke said", "Miranda said" got on my nerves.
I also felt, the speed with which their relationship progresses, once they know how they feel for each other, is suspending disbelief.
Nevertheless, apart from the last few minutes, I enjoyed the short romantic tale.
