I love this series - well written- great plot and wonder characters who you simply can’t resist to like !!!

The narrator is doing a great job - but I confess that I listen the book with 1.2 speed as I find it easier to listen to like that …

Now I can’t wait to start book III in the series !

It’s hard to know how to rate this story. It’s not as interesting/intriguing as the first, but the character development is on point and the Dowager Countess P is as amusing and infuriating as ever!

I am enjoying this novel take on this historical cozy, as it’s not quite a cozy murder mystery, but it is an enjoyable look at Victorian England life with Polite Society, Political Society and Gang Society.

The narrator is superb! I’m happy to have found this series at a time when I can move from one story to the next, seamlessly.
