About this listen

After escaping the government lab where they had spent most of their life with Chase’s brother and three powerful young girls, Daniela and Chase are on the run while the world burns down around them. This was a random pick of an author I had not read before
The blurb was simple with a dash of intrigue so promised to be easy listening

I was not sure if I enjoyed the narration at the start, specifically the narrator and patches of relatively slow speech, and I was tempted to switch to another audio. I am glad I did not.

The story picks up quickly, keeps a steady pace, and keeps you engaged. Any issues with the narrator are quashed and the actual narration is good.

I am not going to give any spoilers other than hours after finishing the first book I went to purchase the following book in the series and to my horror…… the next books in the series have not made into audiobooks! Dang! If audiobooks are made on for this series then I will pick them up
