When Nova was fifteen she fell pregnant, her parents threw her out of the religious cult that they lived in. Her aunt Rain was a great character who is very bohemian. Nova and her son Leo find themselves moving back. Leo is Nova’s joy and is a great kid and sporty.
Cole has taken on the head football coach position. His job all depends on how successful his team play. When Leo wants to join the team and Cole and Nova meet it is full on chemistry. With Cole teaching Nova about the game the sparks fly between them.

We meet two completely new characters in this book who both end up in Sugar Springs for different reasons.
Nova's journey begins when she is 15 years old and finds herself pregnant and alone after her strict religious parents throw her out,as she has brought shame to them.
She goes to stay with her aunt and makes a life for herself with her and her son Leo...until her aunt passes away and she is left her house in Sugar Springs,where Nova decides to live and settle down there..she is an Artist and starts up her own buisness.
Cole was also brought up with his aunt after his mother abandons him.Now all grown up he is now living in Sugar Springs after becoming the new high school football coach..Leo Nova's son wants to play football and so Cole and Nova gets to know eachother.
They are both attracted to one another and get into a relationship pretty quickly even though Nova is reluctant at first.
It comes to light as you listen that Nova has some insecurities about relationships and has trust issues which could possibly destroy the love she finds with Cole...Instead of talking things through she jumps to conclusions and thinks the worst in situtions.
Nova is another strong woman who has been through alot in her young life,she is independent and does have a good head on her shoulders,except when it comes to love.
Cole is a dream guy he is patient and kind and knows what he wants,even when he is busy he makes time for Nova and Leo...I loved the way he excepts Leo.
Oh and by the way Leo is like the perfect son smart,athletic respectful and kind and loves his mama.
Lori Fiaella once again is superb narrating this story bringing all the emotions and drama with her voice as she performs ALL the characters in this book.
I really enjoy listening to Lori tell this story.
A Perfect Match is another emotional,steamy and romantically wonderful book by Alexa Aston she is an excellent storyteller and I will look forward to listening to more of her books.
