Ex-Gunnery Sergeant Torin Kerr drew together an elite corps of friends and allies to take on covert missions that the Justice Department and the Corps could not officially touch. When the scientists doing a preliminary archaeological dig on a Class Two planet are taken hostage, Torin's team is sent to free them.

Tanya Huff writes such engaging characters and complex twisting plots, so those elements mixed with her detailed world building, makes her storys jump to life off the pages in full colour.
I love Gunny and her team of wardens but they get themselves into some dark and dangerous situations.
Loved every minute of it.
Can't recommend this highly enough.
Superb narration just adds more depth to the experience of this book.
