When hordes of people descend on the picturesque village of Nasely for the annual celebration of its most famous resident, murder mystery writer Agnes Crabbe, events take a dark turn as the festival opens with a shocking death.

This book made me laugh out loud at times with its haplessly hilarious characters. Its loaded with subplots, crazy characters and is really good fun and actually manages to also have a brilliant plot line.
I highly recommend it if you like cosy village crime and a damn good laugh!
I actually knew about this book before it was published through unbounders and loved the idea so much I pledged to support it. I’m so glad I did because it really was a pleasure to listen to.
Finally, Rula Lenska was brilliant. Perfect casting for this book.

I throughly enjoyed this book and I didn’t once guess who the murderer was.
The characters are larger than life and there were some laugh out loud moments.
I highly recommend this book for any mixer mystery buffs.
