What did you like most about A Most Haunted House?

Chilling, to the point and subtle. This was a very human story about a relentless haunting.

I felt sorry for John

This is the first. He was very good.

Would you consider the audio edition of A Most Haunted House to be better than the print version?

I didn't read the print version, but if it was like the audio version I would be very worried as I had no idea horrific things like this existed.

What did you like best about this story?

I could have cried for John. He tried so hard and still things went wrong for him.

What about David Ayers’s performance did you like?

Amazing how he did all the characters. I still knew it was him, but each one was different. It's hard to explain unless you hear it.

Did you have an emotional reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I made the mistake of listening to it at night before bed. I didn't get much sleep that night...

As someone who has an interest in the paranormal I often find myself disappointed by evidence provided in some books. The way this has been put together and interviews done is Brilliant. This book is so easy to sit back and listen too, while taking in the statements of those involved. I have now listened to this 5 times!

Although the author has been prevented from undertaking a full investigation of this house it takes nothing away from the authenticity of the clear interviews with those affected.

I could really relate to the torture that this couple had to endure in their house. My ex husband and I moved unknowingly into an extremely active house. We had nowhere to turn to for help. I fully believe that we shared our house with either a demon or at the least, an extremely negative presence. I am now, many years later just starting to write of my own experiences.

As the author concludes in his final chapter, scoff by all means - its fully understandable if you haven't had such a bad experience. Like myself, if you have experienced the paranormal this book will reassure you that you are not mad, insane imagining it or alone in your terror.

Well written. Easy to listen to. The story is clearly laid out for the listener and well read. I listened to this audio book in one sitting. \it captivates your interest from the start. If only more Investigators or those who experience the paranormal would come forward with their stories. Forget Ed and Lorraine Warren books that are trite and quite honestly exaggerated, THIS IS THE REAL DEAL !!

So glad I purchased it!

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Everything about it is true and that's what makes it so disturbing. Both the author and the narrator have done an amazing job. I listened to it five times, but I could not listen to it at night.

What was one of the most memorable moments of A Most Haunted House?

I felt so, so sorry for the character John. He was an innocent who was caught up in this and ended up losing everything - even his mind at one point by the sound of it.

Have you listened to any of David Ayers’s other performances? How does this one compare?

All of David Ayers audiobooks are amazing. I don't know where this guy has come from, but he has breathed life into all his audiobooks. He is very captivating

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I planned to listen to it over a few days, but ended up being so engrossed I listened all the way to the end.
