love this series and would have been 5 stars but a crucial part of chapter 52 is missing. it cuts off mid sentence then moves onto the next chapter and you can tell a crucial section is missing. whoever edited or listened to this to check needs to do a better job!

Great book but a big chunk missing from chapter 52

What happened to the chapters after 52? It seems like a significant chunk of the story was skipped and then prematurely concluded.
Otherwise, enjoyed this a lot.

This is one of my favourite series and I'm always delighted when another book is added to Audible. In this one Boyd is almost at the end of his cancer treatment but although he is on sick leave he is pulled into a difficult case.

Okeke is in the driving seat in this one, and I usually like her but in this book she was just annoying. The way she treated Jay was horrible. The story is gripping and also heartbreaking. But I do hope Boyd is back and totally recovered in the next book. I missed him!

I felt that a part of my read was missing and the book jumped at chapter 52. It seemed to cut short and didn’t finish that part of the story line.

I hope Alex is well on the way back to health along with his alter-ego Boyd. This is another gripping story in the series and I am really looking forward to the next installment with Boyd and the team.
