Summary

Bridget Berg grew up on the slopes of Elk Mountain, Utah. The daughter of a famous downhill skier, she was chasing her own Olympic dreams when her father’s unexpected death forced her to take over his ski lodge. It’s her home and she’ll protect it at all costs—especially from her insufferable neighbors.

Kennedy Fleming is only in Utah to put her dad’s vacation home on the market. She has no interest in living there. That is, until she meets her sexy redheaded neighbor. Sure, she’s rude and unwelcoming, but Kennedy isn’t one to shy away from a challenge.

When Kennedy makes a discovery that could cause Bridget to lose everything, she’s forced to choose between her family and her heart. There’s a mountain of history between their families, but as tempers rage and sparks fly, they’re about to discover that a love worth fighting for is right in front of them.

A charming, fun wlw romance

I loved this involving tale Elle Spencer has located in a charming setting with wonderful, empathetic characters, plenty of dilemmas and a lot of humour. Lula Larkin's narration brings out the sweetness and humour of the story beautifully. All in all, one to savour and cheer you up in gloomy times. Definitely one I will listen to many times over. Lovely.

Great book

Elle did it again. Great story with relatable characters. I liked that this one wasn’t a slow burn or another coming out story.

Highly Recommended

Story is great. Narrator is amazing. Chemistry is hot. And humor is on point. What more can you ask for?

the only Elle Spencer that disapoints

i LOVE Elle Spencers writing. her characters have depth and are interesting and intelligent and deal with their problem in human ways. in this book, not so much, some of tje banter is too much, vapid and completely frivelous, the characters have depth but sometimes feel dumb and the big conflict build up has no payoff. it really feels like the very rough edited first half of an Elle Spencer novel with a token ending thrown on to get it published. entertaining but meh. not the kind of deep rich story telling that this author is capable of. go read Casting Lacey
