Keep at it

Gave up 1/2 way and returned a day later and re read 2 chapters, glad I did enjoyed the book to the end. Accents made it a little difficult with audible

Worth the trouble.

I think I prefer Mr Kitchen as narrator. Though as with the books I find that I do have to persevere before the brain does properly engage with the story and the characters. Once engaged though, it s very much worth the effort. The story does absorb.

The best Aurelio Zen so far

I’ve only recently discovered Aurelio Zen, and the first few books have been quite variable in quality. After a number of changes in both his appearance and character, Zen seems to have finally settled down, and the story was a good mix of humour, gore and fascinating Italian scenery. Michael kitchen as narrator is the wonderfully glossy icing on the cake. Loved it!

Twists and Turns

Want to read more. Once again, Zen is even more cunning that the protagonists.

Just loved this intriguing story with all its ups and downs 😀

A welcome return to form

The partnership of Michaels Dibden and Kitchen returns to form after the less than rewarding Cosi Fan Tutti .

Michael Kitchen and Zen. What could be better!

Zen is such a likeable character. The stories intriguing and Michael Kitchen is such a wonderful narrator. A perfect coupling

one of my favourites in the series

Good plot and general murder mystery, keeps you guessing all the way to the end.
