I think I prefer Mr Kitchen as narrator. Though as with the books I find that I do have to persevere before the brain does properly engage with the story and the characters. Once engaged though, it s very much worth the effort. The story does absorb.

Worth the trouble.

I’ve only recently discovered Aurelio Zen, and the first few books have been quite variable in quality. After a number of changes in both his appearance and character, Zen seems to have finally settled down, and the story was a good mix of humour, gore and fascinating Italian scenery. Michael kitchen as narrator is the wonderfully glossy icing on the cake. Loved it!

The best Aurelio Zen so far

Zen is such a likeable character. The stories intriguing and Michael Kitchen is such a wonderful narrator. A perfect coupling

Michael Kitchen and Zen. What could be better!
