These two are the perfect match of star-crossed lovers. Think Romeo and Juliet meets mafia, it was a fantastic story!

I loved their love and hated the hardships they went through, but that made their love even better.

Also can we talk about all of the twists?! I won't give anything away but I didn't see any of them coming! And yes there is more than 1!! Every single time I thought I was ready and then I realized I most definitely was not ready.. not at all. It was such a rollercoaster and I loved it!

I really enjoyed listening to Evelyn Rose and Aaron Smith, they were great!

Aaron Smith and Evelyn Rose are fantastic as the narrators of this intense book! They bring it dramatically to life. Filled with huge buckets of angst, passion, revenge, pain and love, it has swept me along with style and swagger. Frankie and Ada's story is fraught with loss and pain, but their devotion is unwavering. Add in Aiden, Viper and Bambi and you have a cast of characters that won't leave you alone! They are terrific! They face terrifying odds, but their journey is so dynamic that I found myself unable to put the book down or press pause on the audio. Brilliant !💖💖💖💖💖

4.5 stars If you're looking for a gritty, dark mafia book with not only star crossed lovers but a revenge-y Count Of Monte Cristo energy vibe, then may I present for your viewing pleasure...this. This is my first read by this author and honestly I requested on ARC purely on the cover. BUT MAN I loved this. If I hadn't had super adulty things to do today this would have had me up 'till 5 in the morning no doubt. This was full of angst, pain, longing, love at first sight, "i'll burn down the city then the world for you", revenge, more pain, darkness and finally some kind of (temporary) peace. The love between Ada and Frankie spans decades, they are separated for much of it but it's explosive the moments they steal. I'm probably going to binge more of this authors work because hot diggity dawg this was dark.

It’s been a while since I’ve read Catherine Wilcher and i forgot how fun her books are. Dark but not too dark, London Villain drops you into a mafia war going south fast. Warring factions, dangerous secrets and a love that will not be extinguished. I also loved the cameos from other books.
