What a wonderful story! Warm like a blanket as I’m sitting at the fireplace with a hot cup of chocolate on a cold winter day. It warms your heart and makes you smile. Wonderful storyline, not too dramatic but with a lot of emotion and love and such a positive atmosphere. The right book for this time of the year! And the new narrator fits perfectly, very well done!

This is a beautiful slow burn romance that explorers the complexities of life and death. How life choices influence people's feelings and how loss can be endless.

never felt so much for two characters, a brilliant follow on story to the hideout, rachels' job is just a job everyone deserves love and respect, great writing.
and 3 books 3 5☆ performance by wonderful new narrator.

I enjoy listening this authors books, and this one is no except. They do actually tell a story and build characters that you feel you know. The narrator is great too.

before you listen to this book, you really do need to listen to " The Hideout" first. it does stand as a book on it's own, but the characters do follow on through this listen.
