About this listen

When Sebastian of Hawkesmere returns from the Crusades, he becomes a recluse, locking himself away in an enchanted tower and dabbling in alchemy and magic.

When his brother captures a beautiful woman with a satchel full of amazing instruments, Sebastian is enlisted to help discern their purpose and discover where she came from.

Rhoswen of Atlantis is unlike anyone Sebastian has ever known, and the answers he seeks will shatter his beliefs and force him to choose between love and duty.

Rhoswen is from Atlantis and she and her partner are sent on a mission to save Atlantis by finding old Atlantis. Their hope is they can do this before their world is destroyed. Atlantis has many strict rules but their technology is that of our modern world or perhaps beyond. Rhoswen is captured and is being tortured. Since Sebastian of Hawkesmere return from the Crusades, he can't stand seeing anyone being tortured and he realizes she has so much she can teach him if only she can trust him after what his brother has done. Great job on the narration.

This was quite a good story, but the narrator was not right for the style of book! She sounded like an elderly lady and spoke very slow! It was annoying
