Summary

When Sebastian of Hawkesmere returns from the Crusades, he becomes a recluse, locking himself away in an enchanted tower and dabbling in alchemy and magic.

When his brother captures a beautiful woman with a satchel full of amazing instruments, Sebastian is enlisted to help discern their purpose and discover where she came from.

Rhoswen of Atlantis is unlike anyone Sebastian has ever known, and the answers he seeks will shatter his beliefs and force him to choose between love and duty.

Spoiled

This was quite a good story, but the narrator was not right for the style of book! She sounded like an elderly lady and spoke very slow! It was annoying

Enchanting!

A Knight in Atlantis is a captivating tale with the perfect blend of historical and fantasy romance. The premise is brilliantly composed, and the world-building is wholly fascinating. The characters are fabulous and entirely delightful. Virginia Ferguson did an outstanding job with the narration, bringing the story to life. This was an enjoyable story, and I recommend it. I was given a free copy of this audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this unbiased review.

A knight in Atlantis

Rhoswen is from Atlantis and she and her partner are sent on a mission to save Atlantis by finding old Atlantis. Their hope is they can do this before their world is destroyed. Atlantis has many strict rules but their technology is that of our modern world or perhaps beyond. Rhoswen is captured and is being tortured. Since Sebastian of Hawkesmere return from the Crusades, he can't stand seeing anyone being tortured and he realizes she has so much she can teach him if only she can trust him after what his brother has done. Great job on the narration.

Disappointed

I don't like this audiobook. Very doubtful. I felt that this story did not focus on the main characters enough and gave the lead female to poor an opinion of herself.

Intriguing ideas

Interesting story, that those in isolation and away from light, learn to thrive and advance, perhaps because they are not trying to fight the vagaries of weather and greed. Yes, although fictional, a thought provoking tale.

Magical Crusader + Beautiful Lady from Atlantis = Awesome listen

This is a fantastic audiobook. A Knight in Atlantis is told in a awesome weaving of two very different worlds that of Mid Ages and that of Atlantis . It adds the elements of Magic and the listener is taken on a journey of beliefs , magic and love , between knights. and sorcerers . Virginia Ferguson vocal acting delivers a amazing listen that draws you into the awesome and truly beautiful story from the amazing Mind of Diana Bold . First but absolutely NOT the Last

Need more.

I haven’t read many stories relating to Atlantis but the idea of the Atlantean people being so far advanced (which is the norm) combined with those who weren’t and were from “back in the day” was a nice combination and interesting. I don’t know if that’s how these types of stories usually go?! But I’d love to see (read) the next chapter in this story. The narrator did a great job. At first I wasn’t sure about her voice. But it grew on me very quickly with that smooth, beautiful quality. I couldn’t help but wonder what she sounded like as a child. Questions/Comments: If Rhoswen’s wet suit had been bothering her that much, why did she wait so long to change when she had a change of clothes or at least just remove the suit? I couldn’t help but wonder why she would have pulled her knees to her chest right after having salve put on her feet and knees? Wouldn’t the feet dose have come off? I found it strange that Sebastian never asked Rhoswen how the underwater city had been created. Wouldn’t that be anyone’s first question? On that note, even with how advanced they were (even though there weren't any real details in that area revealed), how did they go from living on an island to living under the sea? That would be a major jump. How did neither character know the other loved them? I mean seriously! I wasn’t a fan of the ending. It’s like the author was almost to her max allowed word count and had to quickly wrap it up, in an unworthwhile manner. I mean what happened to Rhoswen’s male friend? Why wouldn’t the author have had them meet back up? Or try to go back to Atlantis? Rhoswen said they couldn’t go back but what person wouldn’t beg to do so especially when their parents were in charge? It would have been one thing had her mother been the head guy, but it was her father – a person she was close to. That didn’t make sense to me. I received a free audiobook in exchange for an honest review.

Two worlds

This is a romance where two worlds colide. I like that is realistic. There is no easy acceptance. A nice easy listen on a cold night. I got the code from a contributor and this is my honest and voluntary review.

Enjoyable, but...

I really liked the premise, and certain aspects of the story came together really well. But some things felt very rushed, and others just did not get an explanatiom.

Great Story

This is my first Diana Bold novel and I really enjoyed it. She has great characters, great theme story and it will keep you listening to the bitter end. One one thing, I was disappointed how it end, I wanted more!! LOL Perhaps Ms Bold will do another book with them, I hope so!
