I’m not someone who normally listens to audiobooks, but this was a surprisingly easy one to get into. The narration didn’t pull me out of the story, which is usually my problem with audio, and it actually worked well with the calm, unsettling tone. The story is more psychological than action-heavy, and being inside the killer’s head made it genuinely uncomfortable in a good way. It’s a short listen, which helped, and I found myself wanting to keep going instead of switching it off.
