About this listen

Ever feel like your brain has gotten stuck in a tumble dryer? You know, your hairdryer is missing and your alarm clock has gone off for the third time. You trip over the presumably missing hairdryer and reach for your phone, just to realize that you might have misplaced it as well. While searching for it, you get distracted by a million other tasks that require your attention before realizing that yes, it happened again.

Well, if you’ve been formally diagnosed with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, then you know exactly what I mean, and this book is for you! If you haven’t been diagnosed but suspect that you might have ADHD, or if someone you care for has ADHD, then this is also the right book for you!

Life can be chaotic when you have ADHD, especially for women. We carry the weight of the world on our shoulders, and in this case, we have to battle our own minds to overcome and succeed on top of everything else.

My goal is to help you overcome these intense emotions and your self-doubt. I want you to embrace your unique abilities and your differences. In A Comprehensive Guide for Adult Women Navigating ADHD, you’ll learn techniques and skills to positively transform your life and take charge of adult ADHD!

The playback is terrible; it’s as though the very beginning of each sentence is clipped off. Together with the choice of narrator (who has a calm and pleasant but too monotone voice) this audio book is so distracting it detracts from the content which includes tips on home life, organisation, social relationships, motivation and procrastination. Really disappointed with this purchase.

Terrible playback

Some good info in here. I’d not heard the theory on 7 types of ADHD, so really gave me something extra to research!

Not sure on the narrator. She had a pleasant enough voice, but it was slightly robotic in presentation, which made it hard to fully hear what was being said sometimes. Worth a listen though

Some great info - not sure on narrator
