Despite being a fan of these stories, I really struggled to get through this audiobook. Greg Wagland’s reading was dull, lifeless and uninspired. It takes real talent to make Benson’s ghost stories boring, but Wagland’s plodding tones sent me to sleep more than once.

Distinctly NOT recommended. Try Mark Gatiss’s readings instead.

Classic stories, lifeless reading
