Summary

A Christmas Carol has never been out of print since it was first published in 1843, and no wonder! This ghostly little book creates the feeling of Christmas that we still enjoy today. Marley was dead... and so too was Christmas to Scrooge. Haunted by three spirits on Christmas eve the old miser is taken on a journey to his past, his present and his future. With such memorable characters as Tiny Tim and Bob Cratchit it will warm your heart with favorite memories, and remind you how the true Christmas spirit comes from giving with love.

Superb Performance!

Any additional comments?

Every year I reread A Christmas Carol. If anything could make it better, it is having Mr Hynes as narrator.
This is a flawless production that should be high on the listening list of any Dickens fan. There’s no need to mess with such a great story - just read it well. This performance brings out details and tone that no movie can capture! It was totally captivating and fun to listen to. It will be an annual tradition in our house from now on. Thank you Audible and Mr. Hynes

Perfect

I'm sure anyone reading this will have probably already heard of the actual story so no need to go into great detail about it, other than to say I enjoy Dickens' longer stories more, but this one has just enough to get a really important point across about what is Important in life. I like books that do that.
Tadgh Hynes is a wonderful narrator. I love his accent, so to combine it with this book makes it a really nice listen.
