The story was a light enjoyable listen. Enough twists to keep you entertained without straining your brain.

I am afraid the non character narration in these books has always annoyed me but when a character from the writers other series is brought in I think a bit of research would have been helpful. In the Marchmont series Angela is cool and calm, not the scatty woman with a strange voice that is portrayed here.

I read the book first but still enjoyed this recording. l like the narrator but no man can do a proper woman's voice.
Still I enjoyed this recording so much that I have listened to it twice. Look forward to the next adventure.
