Summary

Scrum is a project management approach based on Agile principles that allows organisations and individuals to deliver the highest possible value in the shorted possible time. This framework has often been met with adversity as it is a departure to traditional methods, but has stood the test of time and has demonstrated through countless organisation that they are able to deliver more with less.

60 Minute: Scrum uses a number of cutting edge techniques to ensure that you are to both immediately apply the Scrum framework, and to recall the methodology for years to come.

Not for me

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

I didn't enjoy listening to this book - for a start, far too much time is spent on the pre-supposition that the listener has no useful way of remembering things so tries to teach you their method. And as for the content...

What could Stewart Lancaster have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

I think he did a reasonable job, but stressing the memorisation techniques rather than the actual material could have been avoided.

How did the narrator detract from the book?

Not especially

If this book were a film would you go see it?

NO!

Any additional comments?

I wanted to learn about Agile/Scrum, don't felt I learnt very much at all. Wanted to know how it differs from waterfall, how the project is organised, some examples of how to operate one - you know, a 60 minute briefing :)

Something went wrong. Please try again in a few minutes.
