Unlike other reviews, I did not get this audio book free... so dear reader, having paid my own cash money, I can bring my own honest opinion.
I'm not sure the narrator has quite mastered how to bring the stories to life. Although the narrators voice is pleasant, for my ear the intonation wasn't quite right, which meant that the pace didnt quite work.

At times, it almost felt like the narrator had done the recording in their back bedroom, not due to the quality of the sound but rather because the occasional sound effects were just rubbish.

These stories are ok ...nothing special, just ok. Personally I could listen to better collections of ghost/creepy stories on YouTube

Appears to be the same stories by this author but just different titles and a different narrator. Not the best stories in comparison to others of the same genre

I found it difficult to get into these stories just because of how monotonous the narrator is. He does seem to loosen up the more the stories go on, but it's difficult to start. There are also times when he starts a sentence, is cut off, then starts again - maybe an editing error?
