Summary
Sie hatte halt so ihre Geschichten, das Fräulein Pollinger aus der Schellingstraße in München. Sie fiel bei den besseren Herren nirgends besonders auf, denn sie hatte nur eine Durchschnittsfigur und ein Durchschnittsgesicht, nicht unangenehm, aber auch nicht hübsch, nur nett. Aber an jenem schwülen Augustabend des Jahres 1928 fällt Agnes Pollinger dem Eugen Reithofer besonders auf. Vor dem Arbeitsamt in der Thalkirchner Straße. Er ist seit zwei Monaten ohne Arbeit, sie seit fünf. Und damit beginnt die traurige Geschichte eines Münchner Mädchens, das sich ein wenig zu oft mit den Männern einlässt.
