combines all of the "clarkisms" in one novel leaving you wanting more while still feeling it has drawn a line under the main story.

excellent ending to the space odyssey series. A nice balance of hard sci fi and whimsical futurism - the "gardener" made me laugh out loud.

Loved it, I knew I would, as when I was still able to read a whole novel, I read this one four times (with intervals between) and now being able to just listen is great. I would have been very disappointed if it had been abridged!

Well, I've finished the series, might be my first book series I've completed!
I absolutely loved it. I love Clarke's vision of the future, wouldnt mind it being a reality.
Frank Poole has become my favourite character.
I wish this book got more attention like 2001 does because of its story and amazing characters.
