So much information, so we’ll delivered. Learnt so much. Seems like an almost impossible task to cover such a vast period of time, but this book manages it and is also very well narrated by the author

Even though it was a vast subject matter Dan Jones has worked his magic again. Broken down into manageable chunks. Informative with Dan's usual engaging style.

loved it. goes through a lot of historical events. nice length but still feels like I need to go further in learning about some things mentioned. so it makes a great overview of a huge section of time.

Totally enlightening for me. Lived the way Dan structures the book to help understand how changes in key areas operate around Europe at similar times. I would like to buy the book now to study it more closely. Thoroughly recommend
