Brilliant and incredible funny, Rumpole never disappoints! Beautifully narrated by Benedict Cumberbatch and the other wonderful cast members, John Mortimer’s tales of his ingenious alter ego take you on a riotous and utterly memorable journey chapter by chapter! Love it, thank you Audible!

Brilliant!

The acting was excellent as is the story that it is based on.

However a major change to the plot of the overarching story was not in character for Rumpole at all and spoiled it for me.

I have to say Benedict I’d great as Rumpole but do not like the actress as Hilda, she screeches her way through the stories. Sorry but won’t get any more of these books they are terrible
