Absolutely recommend the story, but DO NOT listen to the audio book. Actually one of the worst narrations I've ever heard. I mostly consume books via audio. Lots of romance especially, but the performance really put me off. I couldn't stay present with the narration and found myself cringing at how the material was interpreted into audio. I had to get the book in print so I can actually get through the story. The story is a great mafia romance and super steamy. I could not finish the story,not in audio. tragic.

Hollie Jackson is a fab narrator usually but this fake voice is just too bad.
Why do the Fake British accents always sound so Eastenders? The male narrator sounds too old too! 😩

The voices made it so I couldn’t take it seriously, they either didn’t suit the characters or there was a bad impression of a cockney accent. The writing was okay but left me rolling my eyes at times. I listened to the end mainly because I didn’t want it to be a waste of money but skipped through a lot of it. It had good potential but just kinda lead off into a wishy washy ending. I really am sorry if that seems too harsh.
