This was a good story, and I didn’t see the twist coming. Unfortunately, as is so often the case, the Audible production was spoiled by poor British accents.

I AM IN LOVE! I grew up loving pearl harbour and the love story behind BUT MAN DID THAT BOOK OVERSHADOW IT! I cried so hard at the end I that I could barely breathe.

For various reasons . Overall this book was AMAZING. It’s such a unique book and i’ve never read anything like it before.

To begin with, the book was quite slow to read and a bit confusing as there are 3 narratives in this book jumping from 1st person to 3rd person but, as the book went on i grew to really love and enjoy each and every character.

I’ve never read a historical romance before therefore this was my first and i loved every second of it. You get an insight of what life, love and worries were like during war, such a horrible time to be alive.

As mentioned, the book does start off slow but the last 100 pages had me on my toes. It was literally PLOT TWIST after PLOT TWIST. I was literally going insane😂

Nevertheless, this book was a great read and would’ve gotten 5 stars⭐️ from me if it wasn’t so slow to start with and confusing but overall, the author did a great job.

I am starting to get in to audiobooks. I like the narrators. I only wished that the books were read like a conversation instead of the men trying to do a female voice and vice versa.

I absolutely loves the book and the characters, Rebecca knows how to grab you and pulls you in everything.
