Once the story unfolds it is full of action, suspense and danger. The plot blends Victorian era steampunk with grave robbing, Frankenstein-esque experiments, strange powers, romance and faith. Being from a Christian author, I was surprised by the references to drunkenness and near-nudity.
Overall, a reasonably gripping story but I would have liked more faith in it.
The narrator gives a solid and clear performance, however there is the odd mispronunciation.
