Two sisters. One brutal murder. A quest for vengeance that will unleash Hell itself . . .

Kingdom of the Wicked is the first in an addictive, intoxicating and darkly romantic fantasy series from a Sunday Times and New York Times bestselling author.

Emilia and her twin sister Vittoria are witches, forced to live their lives in secret to avoid persecution. Until one night, Vittoria doesn't come home . . .

Then Emilia finds her body, desecrated beyond belief. Devastated, she vows revenge at any cost: even if it means using forbidden magic - or summoning Wrath, one of the princes of the Wicked.

Deadly, handsome, and brooding, Wrath claims to be on Emilia's side, tasked with solving a series of murders on the island.

But when it comes to the Wicked, nothing is as it seems . . .

It's been a long time since I have been fully captured by a story but this had me gripped. The narration was perfect, looking forward to part 2.

Desperately hoping there is going to be more. The story was amazing and the way the narrator told the story was beautiful and brought the story to life. She has one of those voice like Morgan freeman or Peter Dinklage just someone who you could list to all day

Felt like this book was a world and character building book but I'm still excited to see where the story is going to go

Intrigued for next book

I enjoyed the story, but it seemed slow for 12 hours and then quickly concluded at the end, feeling rushed. The accent felt unnatural and was annoying at times, but overall it was enjoyable once you got past it. I will continue with the next book and hope the series gets better as we go :)

Good, not great
