More Poe or James than Lovecraft, more gothic horror than cosmic horror. The stories themselves are really well acted and produced and all but maybe one of them is well written (there a couple standing head and shoulders over the rest).
But the grating use of a very campy "Lovecraft" character (who is reamarkably off character for the real "Old Gentleman") does the series a disservice

I was searching for a collection of Lovecraft inspired horror stories. These fitted the bill very well. I will admit that some were more traditional horror, but the twists in all the stories worked well.

plenty to listen to and great stories,well presented, it gives you're mind a visual experience too. bring me back wo when I use to listen to and watch the twilight zone. but better.

This is a fantastic selection of very different tales. It captures the ethos of Lovecraft perfectly and brings his style up to modern standards. All of the stories were enjoyable. It's a worthy collection to any horror library.
