Alex Delaware and Milo Sturgis never fail to deliver. Another epic story in the lives of these two. I feel like they are my friends.

Been listening to Alex and Milo since I was starting my life as an adult. Stopped for a while and now picked it back up. My life has changed, my longing for California has changed: it's not as shiny and wonderful as I remembered it to be. Even more nicer to read that these characters don't change. They capture a moment in time that still resonates as very real. Going back in time in this book (it's about a cold case) helps perpetuate that feeling. Kellerman has understood that need and captured it so well again. Loved this book.
The narrator is not my favorite when he puts on his Milo voice but it does fit the image. In at least one Baldacci books series, they used female voice actors for the women's voices. I would have appreciated that here as well. Now all women sound like virtually the same little old ladies, which the buyers nor the characters deserve. Don't let it deter you from buying the book. It's not a deal breaker.

I love Kellerman but this narrator is just crap. I really really dislike him! The women sound so stupid and they all sound alike. This guy just ruined it for me. I should have read the book, like I've done before, instead of listening to it.
