With the bookshop where she works about to close, Laura Horsley, in a moment of uncharacteristic recklessness, finds herself agreeing to help organise a literary festival deep in the heart of the English countryside. I very much enjoyed the story. The narrator was a little fast sometimes but I really liked her irish accent and wonder if maybe it was just one of the characters that was supposed to be like that. Would recommend :)

I first read this book while at university, when I borrowed a copy from the library, I was devastated when I could not remember the authors name. Having found this gem of a story again I absolutely loved rediscovering it.

not as good as other katie fford books. the start was slow, middle was good and end predictable. the narrators sing song voice was annoying and sounds too mature for the lead character. still listened till the end so not all bad!
