A Meeting Turns To Horror.
A group of alcholics encounter far more than their weekly confessions at a meeting. Based around a tragic accident in the past revenge is delt out in scenes reminiscent of the best horror movies. Through excellent writing and superb narration events are brought fully to life for the listener. This is not for the sqeamish and is a very engaging tale. I thoroughly enjoyed it, with the lights on.

Fab book
This started of as a supportive group meeting the 12 steps of the title.
Some characters opening up & baring their souls for the other attendees.
Then all hell let’s loose. Attacked & terrified.
I don’t do spoilers but crikey what a meeting!
Narrator was really good. Is it wrong to feel relaxed by his voice while listening to mayhem? Just me then!

Entertaining AA thriller
Solid fast paced story centred around a group of alcoholics at an AA meeting. Whilst not the best of Iain's work it still has a lot to offer and well worth a read (or listen). Decent narration assists the reader in understanding the characters well. You could pick a few holes in some aspects of the book, please don't and just enjoy the entertainment that the book brings. An enjoyable read.

Outstanding
This book was given to me for free at my request and I provided this voluntary review.
Iain Rob Wright is fast becoming the master of stories about redemption, guilt and revenge and Aubrey Parsons is the master of bringing these stories to life. I really enjoyed this book and trying to figure out who was the enemy.
I love the flow of the storyline and the narration. The characters were brilliant and a Mr Parsons brings them to life. His narration is certainly not boring. I enjoyed this book so much, that straight away I brought another book mentioned at the end (which is slightly linked to this book).
If you’re a fan of Iain Rob Wright, there are slight links to other books by him. Enjoy!

Bloody good.
As usual, Iain has written brilliantly, and Aubrey voice portrayed everything spot on.
So many twists and turns, you when you think you have figured it out, you get smacked in the face with something else. Adam is well written as a flawed person, and the alcoholics were well thought out. blinding story line, something so simple, turning into a nightmare.
I requested a copy of this book, in exchange for an honest review, and I had to force my self to turn this off. I highly recommend a listen, especially if you have not read Iains work before. Aubrey is a talented narrator, and has done this book justice. They are a great combination.

Not the horror I'm used too but still pretty good
Like the headline says, this isn't quite what I expected from Iain Rob Wright but I still enjoyed the storyline. I'm actually not sure what genre this is placed in so my rating doesn't reflect that it isn't the normal horror-type of stories Iain Rob Wright writes. This is more a mystery and thriller read. I was fine with that since I enjoy all those types of genres. I think we get the gist of the story from the blurb and it sticks to that. Find out what or who is messing with them... attacking them... trying to kill them!
Aubrey Parsons is always enjoyable to listen too. I am happy he narrates this genre... his voice is fabulous for the creepy. I'm not sure I could see him on the romance side! He has this deep melodic edge to his voice that really pulls me in. I've listened to several of Aubrey Parsons's audiobooks and honestly I haven't heard one that I didn't enjoy!

A Different Genre For Me
This is a different genre for me and I was a bit hesitant about listening to it but I listened to the sample and thought I'd give it a go. The story is an action/thriller with a touch of horror. I thought the characters were well defined and believable, the story was interesting but I don't want to tell you more about it as I don't like to give spoilers, the book's blurb does give you an idea of what to expect. The story is mostly about Adam, a recovering alcoholic who ended up having to fight for survival after attending an AA meeting. The author has a good descriptive writing style and his words really did paint pictures in my mind. Having no listened to the book I have to admit it's well written but this genre is not for me.
The narration by Aubrey Parsons was extremely well done, the characters were brought to life beautifully or should I say frighteningly? I'll leave you to decide.
I was given this audiobook as a gift and am voluntarily writing my review.

A Great story I can’t relate to.
This was a well written story. I can tell the author has talent and passion, I am glad I can’t relate to the main character Adam. The content Is very entertaining even so. I would listen to another bender by the author
The narrator Aubrey parsons has a very easy to listen to voice and has the inflection required for an entertaining listen. Absolutely on my radar for future listens with his talent included in the future.
