My wife and I recently had a long drive across the UK, and felt that that would be the perfect chance to audition this book.
It is just as suitable for adults as it is for kids, and passed the time very pleasurably for us.

This was an absolutely fun and entertaining book! So engaging, full of fun facts for any aviation enthusiast (young or old), it is a particularly great listen in the car to keep my boys entertained. Now to find a way to introduce this in my classroom as a reward activity! I can only recommend a listen.

The last time going to Disneyland in California, I stood in line in the hot sun waiting to enter Soarin' at EPCOT. It was worth the wait as I sat in these ski-lift seats when the music began an edge-of-your-seat hang-gliding ride across the globe. I was unprepared for the adventure like never before as my family flew high above the breathtaking sights of the world abroad! We get ready for another flight because this masterpiece of an audiobook is breathtaking, fun, engaging, and educational.

The introduction begins just like a Disney movie, and the short narration for take-off and landing squawks over a radio allows you just enough time to fasten your seatbelt. I laughed when the narrator's explanation of an analogy to remember Bernoulli’s Principle by thinking of a school principal eating burnt noodles had me rolling on the floor in laughter because that was a perfect description of my current high school principal. So, if you want to learn about airplanes and have fun doing it, you must buy this book! You won’t be disappointed; it will engage the kids like a Saturday morning cartoon with Mickey Mouse.

This audiobook is great for kids AND adults! There are enough trivia and historical facts in here to keep you entertained no matter what your age. Even if you are not an avid airplane buff, you will still find it super-interesting.... so even if only one of your kids likes planes, your other kids will still be entertained during the listen ( which of course makes it great for car rides or long waits in the doctor's office)! Background music and sound effects enhance the listening experience for younger listeners. And the narrator sounds like Jeff Bridges (to me, anyway), which makes it seem like a Netflix documentary for adults. Awaken your child's scientific curiosity, or brush up on your own knowledge in an easy, fun way by listening to this charming audiobook!
