What a fun and crazy group of friends. This book might have taken just a bit to get my full attention but I really enjoyed it after all. Poor thing goes through some pretty embarrassing and aggravating situations. The narration was great, lots of enthusiasm. I recommend this series. No cliffhangers.

I accidentally started with this book, but I don't think it made a difference. But totally listen in order and to all 3 books in this series! Melinda is having to start her life over after her Ex-husband runs off with another woman. Its not actually the starting over part that's hard, its the fact that shes on a time crunch. I just can't get over how organized this woman is and where she finds the energy with all that's on her plate. She's like my hero! The dog, best friends and 10 dares will keep you laughing for the entire story and you will not want to put this down, great job Emily James! I must say at first I was thrown off by the accent but Kim Bretton does an amazing job narrating this book making you laugh and keeping you smiling throughout the book.

I really enjoyed this book. It was fun with great characters, great banter and great chemistry. I found myself laughing out loud with Melinda and her antics. The narrator was new to me but I loved her voice and her British accent.

With the wonderful, resilient, optimistic Mel, along with Mikey and Jo steering her ship of dares, Emily James has brought us another delightful, very funny series of mishaps, adventures in village-land and a gorgeous Viking sized vet. I have laughed so much and generally had my spirits lifted, both by the story and by the excellent narrating skills of Kim Bretton. Totally fabulous 💖💖💖💖💖

This was a really fun and cute book. The author does such an amazing job of keeping you interested and entertained from beginning to end and making you connect with her characters. The narration was also amazing. I definitely recommend this book if you're looking for a light fun read.
