THE NEW UP-ALL-NIGHT THRILLER FROM THE SUNDAY TIMES BESTSELLER CARA HUNTER

Midnight.

A call out to an isolated farm on the outskirts of Oxford.

A body shot at point-blank range in the kitchen.

It looks like a burglary gone wrong, but DC Adam Fawley suspects there's something more to it.

When the police discover a connection to a high-profile case from years ago, involving a child's murder and an alleged miscarriage of justice, the press go wild.

Suddenly Fawley's team are under more scrutiny than ever before. And when you dig up the past, you're sure to find a few skeletons...

Enjoyable and has the usual twisty bits, but thought it felt a bit rushed towards the end.
Still loved the characters and the performances too.

Not as good as the rest but still great.

This story felt different to previous Adam Fawley ones and I didn’t find it as gripping with regards to twists and turns however I still really enjoyed it. I appreciate that some people don’t like the references to emails, websites etc but I accept this has just come from the original text where it wouldn’t seem so out of place. I like the different narrators and I always feel like I can really picture each of the characters and understand their personalities and this is a reflection of Cara’s great writing- she paints a detailed picture.

Not as ‘twisty’ but still good
