This book inspired me! I loved listening to it whilst I did my wood work and will be a book I always go back to.

as I began listening I thought the book was a bit long on facts and slightly lacking in the story and travel elements of waterlog that links them all together, as I listened on this became less the case and that same spirit of Deakin came through especially in his travels around Europe as always Roy MacMillan gives a great performance as narrator.
