Veronica Lando is an award-winning crime author who grew up above her parents' Melbourne bookshop surrounded by other people's stories (and dust. There was a lot of dust).
Her first book, The Whispering, won a major national award and landed her a contract and multi-book deal with HarperCollins. Veronica writes across two sub-genres of crime. Her first two novels are dark and atmospheric noir while her third, The Funeral Party, is a humorous and heartfelt cosy mystery with plenty of hijinks and mayhem.
Veronica now lives in the Australian tropics with her young family and a dust allergy. Unlike in the stories she writes, there are no dead bodies in her basement.
