Tom Heehler is an American writer, aphorist, and children's book author, best known for his reference work and style guide, The Well-Spoken Thesaurus (Sourcebooks, 2011). The Chicago Tribune calls Mr. Heehler's book "A celebration of the spoken word." "Take your writing to new heights," raves the Gotham Writers Workshop.
His next book, The Coterie of Smooth-Talking Cats: Diction Fiction for College-Bound Children, is set for a summer of 2027 release. In 2028, look for "What Does Not Kill You, Really Wears You Down: 52 Snarky Proverbs for 52 Snarky Mondays." He makes his home in the sleepy hamlet of Lolo, Montana.
