Salomey is a self-taught author-illustrator from Leeds. Originally trained in architecture, she started watercolour painting in 2018 and quickly fell in love with the art of storytelling. When she is not drawing, she is either daydreaming, going on long walks, at church, or talking to her pet hedgehog Strawberry. Salomey’s debut author-illustrated graphic novel, "BRIELLE & BEAR: Once Upon a Time..." is out on 29th August 2024, with a sequel to follow in Spring 2026. Published by HarperCollins Children's Books, the first volume in this charmingly romantic series is now available for Pre-Order. Her debut as a picture book illustrator arrived with the publication of "YOU CAN DO ANYTHING, TYRONE!", authored by Sir Lenny Henry and published by Macmillan Children's Books. Out now with two more TYRONE titles in the series to follow. Salomey is represented by Lorna Hemingway at Bell Lomax Moreton.
