Patrick Dacey is the author of two books of fiction, The Outer Cape: a Novel and We've Already Gone This Far: Stories, published by Henry Holt and Company. He holds an MFA from Syracuse University, and his short stories have been featured on NPR’s Selected Shorts, and in The Paris Review, Zoetrope All-Story, and Guernica among other publications. Patrick has taught Literature and Creative Writing at several universities and has worked as a reporter, door-to-door salesman, and substance abuse counselor. He is the recipient of a 2022 Pushcart Prize and his story “All That’s Gone Is All That’s Left” appeared in the anthology Small Odysseys: Selected Shorts Presents 35 New Stories, edited by Hannah Tinti.
