Maddison Dawn began writing fifteen years ago when a play of hers was produced by her community theater in Oklahoma. Today, her fiction blends darkness, satire, and an edge of romance, exploring the monstrous, the beautiful, and the blurred line between the two.
Her debut novel, EATING VERONICA, draws from her lived experience with body image, weight, and the complicated ways our bodies shape how the world sees us.
She lives in Atlanta, where she serves as president of the Atlanta Writers Club.
