"An understanding of the natural world and what's in it is a source of not only a great curiosity but great fulfillment." - David Attenborough George Feron, a native Texan, raised amidst the diverse cultures of Germany and Mexico, now resides in Ohio, where his passion for exotic pets thrives. A graduate of Ohio State University with a major in Biology, George's journey with animals began early. At just 11, he cared for animals at a Berlin veterinary facility, and by 16, he was assisting at an animal rescue in Mexico. These experiences ignited George's deep fascination with aquatic animals, especially axolotls. His work in various environments, from shelters to pet shops, has established him as a hobby amphi-biologist and an authority on axolotl care. George's debut book, "The Only Axolotl Care Guide You'll Ever Need," is more than just a manual; it's a heartfelt guide born from his own trials and triumphs in the world of exotic pet care. He offers a comprehensive encyclopedia on axolotl care, debunking common misconceptions and guiding new owners through the nuances of axolotl maintenance. When not immersed in writing or caretaking, George enjoys the tranquility of his Ohio home with Wendy, his girlfriend, their two dogs, three axolotls, and a notably grumpy cat. A gamer at heart, George finds solace and relaxation in video games. With a future vision of educating the masses on the intricacies of exotic pet care, George aspires to pen more books, next focusing on Betta Fish and Bearded Dragons. His mission is to reduce the heartache of pet lovers by spreading knowledge and understanding about the creatures we bring into our homes.
