Chelsea Clark, PhD, is an innovative, reliable, detail-oriented researcher. She has expertise in the areas of study design, methodology, and data analysis, as well as, experience in the fields of human behavior and psychology, interpersonal relationships, and market research. Dr. Clark enjoys observing and analyzing human behavior. She uses her research skills to discover trends and make recommendations in line with consumer expectations. Dr. Clark is a Research Associate at the Lilly Family School of Philanthropy. Currently, she manages the School’s Study of High Net Worth Philanthropy, Generosity for Life project, and Human Needs Index, among other projects. Dr. Clark’s research interests include the intersection of political and charitable giving and the role of interpersonal relationships in the giving decision-making process. In addition to her role with the School, Dr. Clark is the Founder and President of Chelsea Clark Consulting, LLC, a relationship research firm located in Carmel, IN. Her business assists corporate, non-profit, and academic leaders achieve their research-related objectives and solve complex social scientific questions by providing excellent consulting services in all facets of the research design and analysis process. Dr. Clark earned her PhD in Political Psychology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. While earning her degree, Dr. Clark spent five years teaching and designing collegiate courses in the UNC Political Science department and a year working as a writing consultant in the UNC Writing Center. Her skills include, quantitative and qualitative research methods, survey instrument design, program assessment and evaluation design, in-depth interviewing, focus group facilitation, data analysis, market research, teaching, instructional design, public speaking, and event planning.
