Alex S. Kourt (ASK) was born in Liverpool, England, of Greek Cypriot (and ape) descent and grew up in rural Yorkshire. A former software engineer, he now lives in Manhattan and divides his time between New York, Vermont, and Cyprus. Given a lifetime spent asking where curiosity comes from, he has made peace with the fact that his initials were never going to let him do anything else.
